Please note: All animals 3 months and older, residing in the State of California, must be vaccinated against Rabies and licensed according to their city/county ordinance.

Puppies should have their first DHLP-P vaccination at 6 weeks of age, second vaccination at 9 weeks, third vaccination at 12 weeks and fourth vaccination at 16 weeks. Adult dogs should have their first vaccination when acquired, second vaccination 3 weeks later and then annual vaccinations.

Kittens should have their first FVR-CP and FeLV vaccinations at 9 weeks of age and second vaccination at 12 weeks of age. Adult cats should have their first vaccination when acquired, second vaccination 3 weeks later and then annual vaccinations.

We see an increase in Parvo and Distemper cases whenever we have a change in the weather. Along with spaying and neutering, vaccinating your cat or dog is one of the most important responsibilities of being a pet owner. Puppies and kittens need vaccinations to protect them from serious diseases just like children do. Adult dogs and cats need annual boosters to keep them healthy as well.
