- When it is ten o'clock at night, their owners will always know where they are.
- Birds will like them better.
- Crotchety neighbors will like them better.
- They will never come home looking like something the cat dragged in.
- It will be much more difficult for people to hurt them.
- They will not disappear as often.
- Their owners will never have to bail them out of the local animal shelter.
- There is less chance of getting a leg caught in a steel-jaw trap.
- They sleep most of the time anyway.
- Their owners will not have to go calling them all over the neighborhood when it is time for dinner.
- They will live longer, happier lives, and so will their owners.
